Deboxing Days

From Dec. 11, 2017 to Jan. 6, 2018 residents of St. John’s are reminded to place cardboard at the curb on their recycling days, and to post a picture of it using the hashtag #DeboxingDays on their social media profiles to enter to win one of ten $50 North Atlantic gift cards. Everyone recycling cardboard at the Robin Hood Bay Residential Drop Off will receive an entry ballot for the contest.

Curbside Leaf Collection

Thanks to the residents of St. John’s we were able to divert more than 400 tons of waste from the Robin Hood Bay Landfill.

From October 2 to December 1 the City of St. John’s collected leaves in paper yard waste bags at the curb as well as at the Robin Hood Bay Residential Drop-off. The leaves in paper yard waste bags that were collected will be composted, turned into “Black Gold” and used in future landscaping projects.
